    Audio Forward 0.2.0 adds a persistent native macOS output device for direct audio forwarding between two Thunderbolt-connected Macs.

    Highlights

    • Choose Audio Forward directly in macOS Sound settings.
    • Save a preferred destination and reconnect automatically when it appears.
    • Keep Universal Control available by sending audio over Thunderbolt Bridge instead of AirPlay.
    • Use an icon-only native menu-bar control that works cleanly with Bartender 6.
    • Install as Audio Forward.app with a simplified native-style icon.
    • Send audio in either direction by installing the same app on both Macs.

    Notes

    The first forwarding session on each Mac requires System Audio Recording permission. This build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized.
